London Marathon 2009
Peter Lindop of DPM UK took on the challenge of running for the children of Ethiopia
Intrepid staff member and Deputy UK director, Peter Lindop, is not one to shirk a challenge!
He ran on behalf of DPM-UK in the 2009 Flora London Marathon. The focus of the fundraising is the work among AIDS widows and orphans in Ethiopia.
Looking after AIDS orphans and widows is a small but vital areas of ministry that DPM has supported for a number of years, through Yemane and Rahel Endale in Addis Ababa. Currently crisis looms once again for this country, as tens of thousands of children are at risk of of starvation due to drought and food shortages. And we would like to further help these children in practical ways. Read more about our work in Ethiopia here.
